Integrative Medicine

Bringing together the best of all forms of treatments, the term integrative medicine has replaced the use of ones like natural, alternative, holistic and complementary.  Integrative medicine looks at how conventional medicine, combined with more holistic approaches may be used to treat the body and bring it to optimal wellness.  Each person is unique.  What works for one person may not work for another.  So, shouldn’t treatment should be individualized?

There is an increased popularity in learning how to treat the body as a whole, not just the symptoms.  Our bodies are made to heal themselves given the right tools, conditions and resources.  Whether you are looking to get back into shape, want to continue to enjoy optimal health or are facing a health challenge and are looking for answers, treating the whole body just makes sense.

When used together, different therapies can work synergisticallly to bring the body into balance and promote healing or enhance health. Treatment with conventional therapies is enhanced when combined with more holistic option including proper nutrition, stress management and monitoring environmental factors.
